Brand elements, such as the name, logo, and slogan, provide the fundamental identity of the brand in the consumer’s mind. Prof. Estes will present recent research examining the factors that influence consumers’ perception, evaluation, and memory of brand elements. This Brand Venture will highlight the surprising complexity of brand identity, and will reveal some ways to effectively coordinate and leverage brand elements.
Zachary Estes is associate professor of Marketing at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. His PhD in Psychology is from Princeton University, and he has previously held professorial posts at the University of Georgia (in the U.S.) and the University of Warwick (in the U.K.). Professor Estes currently serves on the editorial boards of several international scientific journals, and his research has been published in both psychology and marketing journals.
